Scott Manuel Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan. He began doing stage work at 10 years old before moving to San Diego, California as a teenager. In San Diego, he continued on stage working with San Diego Repertory Theatre, The San Diego Black Ensemble and various other theatre houses. He graduated from California State University at Fullerton's Theatre Program and headed up productions such as Othello, Taming of the Shrew, Titus Andronicus, Twelfth Night and Intimate Apparel. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has placed more emphasis in TV and film; yet, his heart remains on the stage. Scott is honored to have worked with such a talented, diligent and professional team during the journey for Dawn and is proud to be the vessel for the spirit of Tye.
