When he's not traveling and pursueing his extreme career in skydiving, Keith scratches his creative itch by making short films. Soon after shooting the short "Vindiction" in Florida, he met up with Leon in LA to shoot "Dawn." Now back on the east coast, Keith is looking to shoot and turn ideas into badassery

Matt Guerin (Associate Producer)
Matt Guerin is a Toronto-based screenwriter and producer. He co-wrote and produced the award-winning short film The Golden Pin, which won the Best Canadian Short award at Toronto's Inside Out Film Festival, before serving as Additional Writer and Associate Producer on director Cuong Ngo's award-winning feature debut Pearl of the Far East. He also works at the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation as a researcher. His recent credits include Associate Producer for Leon Le's Dawn, and is currently in pre-production on a feature film version of The Golden Pin.
Leon Le (Writer/Director/Editor)
Born and raised in Saigon, Vietnam, Leon Le moved to the States at the age of 13. An accomplished professional dancer/singer/actor, he had worked every where from Disneyworld, dinner theater, regional theaters, national tours to Broadway. He also appeared in numerous TV Series/Films/Commercials in US and Vietnam. As a fashion photographer/filmmaker, he has a passion for telling stories and express his artistic view through images. Dawn marks Leon's second short film. Currently he's working on this third short film The Letter, and writing his first feature film. Ronobir Lahiri (Composer)
Ronobir Lahiri holds a BA in Theater and Literature from Yale University. He formally trained on the sitar in North Indian Classical Music under the guru-ship of Deepak Choudhuri, a preeminant disciple of Pt. Ravi Shankar, in Calcutta, India. In 2000, he was awarded the Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Sound Design for a production of Tom Stoppard’s Indian Ink. Other theatre scores include The Milk Train Doesn’t Stop Here, What Alice Found There for the Williamstown Theater Festival. He began his career scoring to picture with HBO, composing the 2007 Cinemax Yearender. The following year, the promo he scored for HBO Sports was awarded the 2010 Sports Emmy for Outstanding Promotional Announcement. In the past year, he has scored 7 short films, for NYFA, USC Film School, and several independent production companies. He is resident composer for Hand Crank Films, having scored over 50 short films and commercials for that company, two of which were awarded Addy Awards in 2012. He has self-produced two albums of Indian-fusion sitar music, titled Broad Strokes, and Joy for Silverlake. In 2009, he was Music Director for the Franco Dragone-produced circus, India!, which toured Germany. As MD, he led a 14 piece band with his sitar in the music of A.R. Rahman, Sting, and Peter Gabriel. In 2011, he was invited to Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts Academy, where, along with Otis Sallid and Aaron Jones, he composed the original musical, The Moon. He’s also an accomplished stage and screen actor, with numerous primetime television credits, and has played the title role in The King and I in 5 major productions, including Broadway and the West End.
Warren Burke (Black)
Warren S. L. Burke, born & raised in Chicago, Illinois. From a young age, Warren understood the power of laughter as a tool to change lives and and knew that he was destined to be in front of the camera. Following in the footsteps of his parents, he attended college at the Tennessee State University, majoring in Business Administration. Upon graduation, he relocated to Des Moines, Iowa to put his degree to use in Corporate America. After six months of employment as an Account Executive at the Des Moines Register, Warren took the biggest leap of Faith and traveled cross-country in the middle of winter to Los Angeles, California to explore his love for the arts and pursue his passion of acting. Determined in taking serious action to perfect his craft and kick start his acting career, he began training at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His experience spans across all genres of entertainment media including theatre, television & film. His credits also include voiceovers, hosting, dance work and much more. Warren recently finished production on the short film, One Call Away, which he wrote, directed and co-produced. Currently, Warren resides in Los Angeles and continues his training at the Groundlings Theater.
Scott Manuel Johnson (Tye)
Scott Manuel Johnson was born in Detroit, Michigan. He began doing stage work at 10 years old before moving to San Diego, California as a teenager. In San Diego, he continued on stage working with San Diego Repertory Theatre, The San Diego Black Ensemble and various other theatre houses. He graduated from California State University at Fullerton's Theatre Program and headed up productions such as Othello, Taming of the Shrew, Titus Andronicus, Twelfth Night and Intimate Apparel. Since moving to Los Angeles, he has placed more emphasis in TV and film; yet, his heart remains on the stage. Scott is honored to have worked with such a talented, diligent and professional team during the journey for Dawn and is proud to be the vessel for the spirit of Tye.
Jeff Manabat (Ken)
Jeff originated the lead role of Henry Tahara in the critically acclaimed play Bronzeville, nominated for both an NAACP Theatre Award and Ovation Award, with Robey Theater Company. Favorite stage credits: Oberon/Theseus (A Midsummer Night's Dream), Lun Tha (The King and I), Agrippa (Cleopatra: the Musical). Currently, he writes and performs with the internationally-touring, award-winning a cappella quartet, The Kinsey Sicks, with whom he has also recorded 5 albums, the over-the-top concert film I Wanna Be a Republican!, and the documentary Almost Infamous.
Terrance Spencers (Correy)
A native of Washington, DC and holding a BFA in Dance Performance and Education from Towson University, Terrance has appeared in the Broadway Blockbuster musical Wicked and has studied under the awe-inspiring Debbie Allen, who chose him for his first lead role as “Boston” in the critically acclaimed Twist: The Musical. He has traveled all over the world dancing for the incredible American Idol superstar, Adam Lambert and was also featured in the Golden Globe winning film Dreamgirls. He just finished a run in the Hit musical The Color Purple at Celebration Theater here Los Angeles in the role of Harpo and is so thrilled to be a part of this inspiring film, Dawn.
